Nicolas Cooley: Certainly smarter than you.
Willie Tun: A corporation can be sued and is considered a "person".
Cyndy Grimes: And conservatives actually support the ruling. It's scary
Clark Lachowski: Incorporate yourself, before it is too late.
Bettye Arre: The 5-4 decision from the Supreme Court on Citizens United was an absolute travesty. Corporation leaders incorporate so that they will NOT be "a people"---they form a protective incorporated "group" to escape or defer personal liability. Money is also not "free speech" in the context of the Citizens United mistaken ruling...and making a wealthy corporation a "person" as the Supreme Court did NULLIFIES the votes of the individual workers upon whose labors the corporate profits depend. Corporate leaders now get to vote twice, basically---as individuals, matching the power of their underpaid workers to vote, and as a profitable (thanks to workers) corporation with the new power of using the w! orkers-generated profits against those workers by donating unlimited sums to anti-labor rightwing Republicans in order to keep GOP DEREGULATIONS (removal of all oversight, all consumer or worker protections, and all systems of checks and balances) in place....Show more
Ronny Dorge: Yes.The more money you "donate" to politicians, the more of a person you become.
Carolin Southers: No, both people and corporations are people.
