is memento a good movie?

Marcellus Exler: Memento is a fantastic movie!A very different way of telling a story.Think of reading a book NOT by starting at Chapter ONE, but by starting with the LAST chapter first then reading the previous chapter, then the previous... and so on. It might take 10 to 20 minutes to get used to the structure but once you do it's easy to follow and it's quite a thriller....Show more

Tomi Vauters: Memento is a wonderful film. It is very confusing the first time you watch it, but it is definitely worth seeing at least twice.I don't know if you know the premise of the film, but it's about a man trying to solve his wife's murder. The problem is, he has no long term memory, so he remembers things by tattooing them on his body, taking polaroid pictures and writing notes on them, and always following particular routines. The film is told with one timeline that moves chronologically forward and another that moves backward; these alternate for the whole film. Because of th! is, we get a sense of what it's like to be unable to keep memories and time straight in your head. This is effective, because it makes the whole film extremely confusing, and it's much easier to put together the more you see it.I love this film and it is worth watching. However, it isn't easy to understand, so you can't just shut off your brain and understand what happens. It's a great movie that makes you think long and hard....Show more

Jess Grizzel: Great movie, was completely unique when it came out.

Caterina Yeargan: I do not believe that's accurate
