Erin Arron: I think from my experience, both have no much difference but , Kinder garden Education will be better upto some extent. http://www.abbyirondoors.com
Toya Braskett: I am from Michigan, and the schooling required for both are the same... you have to get a bachelor's degree in education and then in our state, you get what's called a ZA (early childhood) endorsement. This requires several extra courses but then you are able to teach preschool and kindergarten. And as far as the pay, it depends on where you teach. I teach for a large public school system and preschool and kindergarten teachers have the same salary. If you teach "preschool" in a daycare or childcare facility, that's when you don't need as much education and don't make as much money....Show more
Moira Woodrow: It is easier to get into Preschool education. It takes 12 college units to begin in preschool ed. Kindergarten takes a bachelor of arts degree as well as a teaching credential. Ther! e is a big difference in pay also. A preschool teacher makes a little more than minimum wage. A kindergarten teacher will start above 36,000 a year depending on the state you are teaching in.
