You get to hear all their funny stories (believe me they are funny, makes you wish YOU enlisted too!) Cons - You don't see em as much as you want Their idea of "cooking dinner" is grabbing maccas on the way home from the base......answers 2:pros: having a hot husband in uniform meeting other people from all walks of life traveling to different places learning about different cultures meeting people that understand how your feeling housing paid for medical (no matter how bad) dental insurancecons: long deploym! ents field times being alone not being able to talk to your soldier for days at time raising the kids by yourself hoping not to get that knock at you door during a deployment i've been an army wife for 15yrs now......answers 3:well my situation is marine corps, but still a similar situation.here are the things i have learned:you will always feel proud to be who you aredistance DOES strengthen true loveit is very very hard to have them gone...it always will be hardthere are support systems everywheremilitary men are polite, strong, fit, and very sexyand most of them have kind hearts below their strengthi love every single second of my life with my marineeven when i got months without seeing him and weeks without hearing his voice. The pros are being proud of who and what your husband does, meeting other spouses, seeing different places, benefits. The cons are it is hard being away from your own family, possibility of the hubby being deployed months on end, moving every couple of yrs-it seems like once you get settled your off again. But I would do it all over again if I had to. I love the military life. It has it's ups and downs but it just took me some time to get used to it. As long as your willing, it will work....answers 6:well he is in the air forceyou more than likely wont be in your home state .....you move every so often whether you want to or not..you too get to see the world...you get great medical coverage and so do your children...if you fit in your life in your town before being in any part related to the military you wont fit in with the military life style..you have to get used to people leaving all the time...at times you have to be a loner...and although you dont ! wear his rank..anything you do on base affects his career...if you dont pick a career such as a school teacher..its harder for you to find a job when and if he gets stationed overseas...but if they offer free school for you or cheap..take it...and oh yeah the pay isnt paid either......answers 7:pros: love of a soldier, benefits..... cons: anger problems, if in infantry, days without husband being home, dirty boys =]
