Different kinds of special education help?

Faustino Mellerson: There are jobs in early intervention (all states have a program, but how they are run varies from state to state), the children range from ages 0-3 and have a wide range of disabilities. There are special education classrooms which usually vary in the type(s) of disabilities and levels (moderate/sever to mild moderate to Resource). Most people will choose special education and then have some type of disability that they know more about or specialize in (for example Autism, Downs Syndrom, hearing impared etc). For those who are more generalist usually end up in Resource (which usually is a pull out or push in and services children with learning disabilities who are able to handle a typical classroom).Other than teaching there are specific fields you can go into such as Occupational THerapy, Speech Therapy, Physical therapy or psychology.
